Wildhorse Cinema & Arts was founded with a simple but powerful vision: to create a community-driven space where film, live performance, and creativity thrive in the heart of Steamboat Springs. As our town grows, so does the need for accessible, inclusive, and inspiring spaces where people can gather, connect, and celebrate the arts. That’s why we formed Wildhorse – to meet that need and bring new energy to a beloved local venue.
Built on the bones of a traditional cinema, Wildhorse is now reimagined as a hybrid space – where you can catch the latest movie, enjoy a jazz night, laugh at live comedy, or rent a theater for a birthday or business event. We’re committed to showcasing diverse voices, supporting local talent, and providing a platform for storytelling in all its forms.
As a project of Undiscovered Earth, a nonprofit dedicated to connecting people through arts and culture, Wildhorse is more than entertainment – it’s a mission. We believe that creative experiences can heal, uplift, and unite. Every ticket purchased, every event held, and every performance attended supports a greater vision of a vibrant and welcoming arts community in the Yampa Valley.

Our six-screen venue continues to showcase the latest new releases while also curating special screenings, community programming, and classic film experiences. Beyond the big screen, our intimate 45-seat performance space offers a stage for live music, spoken word, and cultural events, making Wildhorse Cinema & Arts a go-to destination for artists and audiences alike.
